    Hi everyone, I'm buying PS3 and the Fifa 09 game for a birthday present, does anyone know where they are doing any deals at the moment?

    Everywhere, HMV, Argos, Smyths, Game, Gamestop, Zavvi, X-tra vision...

    Just shop around to find the cheapest, I think Game do a very good deal.

    Just found Smyths have a deal with the console and fifa 09 for €409.99, best deal i've found. Anyone finds one better let me know.

    WOW! thats the best i've seen... is it the 40GB?

    Tesco in maynooth are selling off all their 40GB's cheap because theres a new one opening soon :)

    No its the 80GB Console, sounds like good value anyway, I rang Ken Blacks, Byrnes, Gamestop, etc and no one can match it, not with that game anyway.

    I'd be pretty surprised if you came across a better deal than that.

    The only one I can think of is Tesco, they seem to have periodic deals in their hardware section. I got mine there last march and got 30% back in cash vouchers, so the PS3 alone (40gb) cost me just €280. Not sure if they have any deal like this at the minute though, or plan on doing so in the near future.
