Mechanical problem of some sort ....

    On starting the car and moving in low gear there is a chud noise if I take
    my foot off the accelerator. I can repeat this time after time.

    It only happens from first gear to taking the acceleration off.

    Its getting serviced soon and will ask then but curious in advance.

    Any ideas what it could be? An adjustment needed, or a new gear box?

    Shouldn't cost too much if that's what it is. Bear in mind though that i'm no mechanic.
