Apparently Lyons of Limerick are now offering a Buy one car, get one free. The second one is supposed to be off small value, with no warranty. Any one hear any more about this? I heard it was in the Limerick Post today, didn't get a read of it myself.

I read it too. I know from driving past that their dealership is about to burst.

I didnt think they had very many **** box's that they could give away for free.

Very like the Autoxchange deal. Buy 1 get one free.

    Best of luck.

They are like the Auctioneers screwing around for years and now they are screwed.

Saw a ad in the Buy and Sell by a different crowd with the same offer.
I doubt the second car is much cop. But it must have at least a NCT in case the brakes fail on young Timmy.

I would have to say. I would not buy a car from Autoxchage. The are very difficult to deal with if anything goes wrong. You will get a lot of,"the manager can not come to the phone as he is in a meeting" or "its a second hand car you would expect that it would breakdown"

    Stay away

    Exactly my experience.

I can't say much for the quality of the cars or the salesman I came across in there either.

Re. AutoExchange, it's also interesting to note that cars with their window stickers and number plate surrounds regularly appear on cars in finance repossession sales - more common than most dealers !

The Autoexchange in Limerick "doesn't deal with repossesions. Why take on someone else's bad luck."

Kia were literally doing this in the UK with the Magentis. Buy a new Kia Magentis, get a second new Kia Magentis free.

To clarify, I meant that a geater than usual number of their cars are reposessed AFTER they sell them, ie an above average number of their customers seem to default on their payments.

I was not referring to their source of stock.

    Sorry, my bad.

Sure it's the case that if your over 18, you have some form of income (ie. 10 euro pocket money), they'll give you credit.
