Second hand synths.

    Hi guys, just wondering does anyone know of any shops in Dublin which buy and sell second hand synths? Oh and for a fair price of course!

    Shops and secondhand often don't mix.

    Say the Unit you want to sell to them is worth Euro 100 max on the second hand market.
    If the shop was to make NOTHING reselling it they could only offer you Euro 82.64.

    The dreaded VAT suppresses things.

    Hmm I see, maybe that's why I never heard of a shop that does it. What about trades? Or is it the same situation there aswel?

    Yes, Vat goes on anything a shop sells, so again while they'll take trades it's effective value will be well below market value.

    What we usually do is try and find the seller a buyer - in fact that may have happened on Boards this evening!

    The seller gets rid of what they have, the buyer gets what they want and invariably, the seller spends the money he got with us - everyone wins, Beautiful!
