Was in St Stephens green a few weeks ago and took these and only got round to them today. Some c&c on these would be really appreciated. Anything I could have done to improve them? Thanks a lot.

They are lovely shots and very good as is but there are a few different styles you can go for also, it really depends on your preference. You could go for vignetting and softness with contrast or you could go for a drop in saturation, so many options.

No problem as they are though, very good shots. Number 2 looks a bit noisy to me but that easily hidden with added contrast. I'd love a play with them though, they are really good.

Hi Rachel. You can play away with them if you want if you go through to flickr!

Nice shots, but I personally think if you crop #1 slightly, just so it gets rid of the mass of leaves at the bottom of the picture - it looks a lot better.

by Noisy i take it you mean lots of "stuff" in the picture rather then NOISE ?

I mean by the dark edges of the closer areas, looks kinda like the effect you get through brigtening. Maybe noise is not the right word

Some good shots there, nice and moody. I'd probably have put the building in #1 a little lower in the frame, but that's probably picking nits. #3 feels very heavy on the left side of the frame, perhaps moving off the path to the right a bit would have helped give a better curve and balance the shot a bit more.

    Otherwise, nice work!

#3 lacks interest for me, it seems to be vignettingly zooming in on a rubbish bin.. :o
I like the processing & composition on #1, the LHS seems a bit under exposed or too much vignetting.
    I love #2 & #4, processing & tones are great. Super shots! :)

#3 - I was trying to have the path and railings leading into the 4 empty benches, not really signifying anything except an autumn day in a park although I can see what you mean when I look at it now :)

I did go a bit mental with the vignetting this time!

It was more of a spur of the moment shot rather than a sit down and think about it one.

Thanks for the C&C. Always appreciated especially to a noob.
