who is promoting it and what sort of set will Erol play?

ive been listening to his disco 3000 stuff he has done recently , while good not a patch on some other stuff.

Think I'll head along, his last set (when he played with Digitalism) was only average IMO so I'll be hoping for better.

EDIT: Promoted by 'WEDOMUSIC' according to ticketmaster, never heard of 'em.

I'm a massive fan of his but the ALT sound system is dire at best! I'm really worried about the possibility of it being the cause of a crap gig. Hopefully it will be ok but we'll have to wait and see.

Was at a gig there last night, felt i had to get really close to get the best of the sound, its brutal back towards the bar area

Well he's playin this Friday, anyone goin? Any idea of the kinda set he'll play? Heard he's changed his style away from the Justice, Digitilism, Boys noize etc sound. Anyone know of any truth in this?

If he decides to rip it up like he did at the likes of Bennicassim & a couple of the other festivals this year it will be immense.

Just never can tell.

im not sure what the crowd will be like either . there hasn’t been a lot of noise about this one. wouldn’t be surprised if the "guest list" gets opened up just to get heads through the door.

shame that DJs like this don’t have a decent venue to come to . The closing times make it nigh on impossible to get the crowd going properly. Well that’s what i think anyway

Haven't been to ALT before but worried about this talk of terrible sound...

First gig since the summer as I've been away and really want a big night so hopefull he wrecks the place, was rageing I missed Carl Craig and Ben Klock at the weekend! That would have fixed me up rightly. Had a look at youtube of his gigs from the summer festivals and looked promising.

Any idea of set times and who's supporting?

Hi Griff, I'm supporting Erol. Set times are roughly 11-12.30 for me, 12.30-2.30 for Erol, although it was more like 12.45-2.45 for Boys Noize last night. Really interested to hear what he's going to play. Heard some great reports from recent sets of his in the UK.
