AutoGlass are giving free windscreen checks, and fixing them too. (from what I can see by their stand).

Its not really an Autoglass freebee as such. Insurance picks up the tab.

They have been doing this every so often over at Dunnes in Briarhill.

Windscreen repairs dont affect your renewal quote. I had my windscreen replaced recently and kept full no claims bonus.

Maybe doesnt affect your NCB, but thats not to stop them throwing in an extra few quid anyways.

Wonder do AutoGlass fix it if you dont have windscreen insurance??

If windscreen replacement doesn't affect your no claims then I imagine you can't be charged extra.

Quinn insurance don't cover windscreen replacement without taking your NCB.

You might be right actually. See page 10 here http://www.quinn-direct.com/documents/motor_policy_roi.pdf

Don't know what it means by optional though.

It's the windscreen cover with Quinn that is optional. Think it's about €28.
