I was very tempted to say yes, but I have no experience with parrots and after a quick bit of research on the net, and realising what a responsibility an Amazon would be, I think an Amazon needs an experienced parrot owner, so he's not for me:(

Well done on getting him back to full health and hope you find a fantastic home for him
