Netbook comparison - need help asap!

So here I am contemplating purchasing a netbook. I have a good laptop and desktop and an external hard drive, I just need something basic, light and small for college. I ruled out the Asus EEEEEEEEEEE ones because they're too expensive for what they are, have teeny tiny hard drives and are generally a bit annoying. So I'm left with the Acer one a150 XP and the MSI (yeah I know) Wind. Both have similar 120Gb hd, ~1 Gb RAM, WXP OS, a cam, wireless and speakers. The MSI has a better cam, bluetooth and a bigger screen and is only slightly heavier and slightly more expensive. But the Acer is a better known (if not exactly amazing) laptop brand. I need help. Please let me know what you think...:D

Get an Asus Eee 1000H. It's like a Wind, but better. It has the same specs but a better battery life [4 hrs vs 90mins] and a MultiTouch Touchpad. Worth the extra money in my opinion.

    agreed
the wind has a sh1te battery life but would beat any EEE pc hands down atm if its battery was better (And the price remained the same)

Consider the Asus N10J thats the most powerful atm but still awaiting release

Its a bit pricey, but the samsung q45 is a really good small laptop.

Well if OP's able to get VAT free then the 1000H is only €25 more expensive on Elara.ie, definitely worth it.

I have the MSI Wind. It's a great little machine. Yes, the battery is crap but having XP and a bigger hard drive is a bonus. Plus it comes in white with love hearts on it :o

check out this review of the advent mini notebook for €380 in currys:

i saw the aspire one and while its a beaitiful mini notebook, i just think that one scratch would ruin that lovely glossy sapphire blue cover, simply going on aesthetics alone, oh and the advent has bluetooth built in, thats a big plus for me too rather than a usb dongle bluetooth like you'd have to do with the aspire, even if it is only €20 for one...
