Channel 4 - sky+

    I am having problems with the channel 4 channels at the moment C4, E4 and More4 and their + channels- nothing on the screen and can't record. I can see them via the "other channels" but can't record anything, no problems with Film 4 or any other channels. Anyone else having any problems, before I arrange for sky to call over again? It is a recent re-installation.

    Is there a DECT cordless phone near the Sky box by any chance?

    I may be wrong but I think you cannot record "other channels" on sky plus

    Saw this on another forum, hope it helps

    One other limitation to be aware of. Sky + doesn’t allow you to ‘schedule’ recordings on the additional channels. You can record on them, but only if you are watching the channel at the start of the programme in question and then hit ‘record’ - which is a pain in the ass compared to normal channels where you can schedule the recording for up to 1 week in advance

    Yes there is a cordless phone about 15cm from the sky box - not sure what a "DECT" cordless phone is.

    I'll move it, thanks. Why would that interfere? I purposely put the phone socket beside where the sky cables were coming in to ensure less cables.

    I was aware that you can't record "other channels", that's why I wanted the channels back, rereading my post I can see I was a little unclear.
