    Compsoc ftw. Monday Night Mash-ups are good craic if you are a bit of a geek or want to play some CS.

    If you do a language, join the respective society. Great for trips away and stuff.

    Nothing specific soc is great craic, all the lads are really sound. (Plus they have a policy of doing things for free)

    I'd also suggest fansci (if you're into anything nerdy), lit and deb and filmsoc (obviosuly)

    Lit&Deb is great, Nothing Specific is fun and interesting and there is varying societies for various subjects and faculties (e.g. Law Soc, Chem Soc, Physics Soc, Biz Soc), some of which are good and some not so good.
