It may seem like a stuoid question, but the computers in the boole, is the little lead with the circular thing at the end near the monitor a jack for earphones?

And if it is, how the hell do you turn up the volume??

It sure is and over the bottom right in the system tray there should be a little gray circle thing near the clock. Click that to open up a panel on which you can adjust the volume.

It may sound stupid but make sure it's plugged in at the back. Wouldn't work for me last week and it wasn't plugged in.

1: those leads dont always work. You can jack directly into the computer, the port is below the on button. Just lift up the grey cover.

2: volume control is hidden for some reason unknown to me. Simply press "windows key" + r then type "sndvol32" and ta-da the volume control is yours.
