I have a lot of stuff that I need to print off but I'm kinda confused about how to do it. I have all the stuff on my USB and I have a kopykat card thingy so what next? do I just stick my usb in a random computer and then just print? But then like how do i pay?
I went on my library tour(which was useless) and all that but I'm still confuzzled

You click which type of print you want it to go to (b&w, colour, transparent), then you can pick it up from any printer around campus.
You have to pay using the Virtual cash acceptors that are around campus. vca.jpg
You pay in advance then it is debited from your card once you start printing.

Bring your USB in stick when you're doing Physics labs, then print them off the printer in there for free.

If you have access to somewhere with free printing, go there..

Otherwise, you have to top up your student number, using the machines that Peslo put up a photo of.

There is one on the way in to the Hamilton Computer Rooms and one down near the mac lab in the Arts Block(i think) and some more around... mabye Aras an Phiarsaigh

Put in your student number, or swipe your card, enter your password (default is 9999 i think) and top up.

Once you have topped up, go to a computer in one of the computer rooms and print your files. You can select a black and white or colour printer.. Black and White is cheaper.

Go to the printer you printed to (the colour or black and white one), itll be in the computer room, or in an ajoining computer room.

Swipe your card, or put in your student number, enter your password... confirm printing and cost and theyll print..

Make sure to check the printer before you print to it incase its broken..

The way to do it is explained above, but to clarify - the Kopykat cards are only for the photocopiers, not the printers.

I found a Kopikat card in the dryer at Halls today. Don't need it though.

Contact the printing people, they're normally good at sorting you out. CC it to the SU Education Officer.

Not quite true. Kopikat cards will work in printers in the Library. However, Word is disabled from all Library computers, so it will only work if you want to print up documents from E-Journals or Databases - mainly in .pdf format.

If it's a Word document that you want to print up then Peslos's instructions are spot-on.
