    Hi there ...

I'm thinking of taking my fiancee away for Christmas to a log cabin, hopefully where theres snow! Has anyone any experience of this? Preferrably reasonably close to an airport that Ryanair or Easyjet fly to ..

    Any thoughts appreciated!

    Cheers

Great idea! You should probably look at places like Chamonix or similar.

    Or Wales? http://www.underthethatch.co.uk/index.htm

Wanted to do something similar this year with the OH, No idea where to start looking though!
would just want somewhere incredably beautiful and snowy. Scotland any good for this sort of thing?

Not easy to get to but glass igloos would be worth it :)

Thanks for the replies and suggestions. The glass igloos look cool ... in fact, they look freezing! I prefer a bit more comfort and somewhere a bit easier to reach ... :)

Ryanair: Dublin- Tampere (Finland) 4-5 hour drive will get you to lapland. we did it last year, really enjoyed it!
