    Folks,

I have a requirement for a fairly oddball power supply. As per above the output needs to be 6 Volts AC 1.5 Amps. I have only very basic knowledge of electronics... Am I correct in thinking that a transformer that is capable of 2 amps will not fry my device, rather the device will only draw 1.5 amps from the transformer.....

    Thanks in advance !

    P.

Yes, you are correct. The device will only draw what it needs.
