Any fleet managers (maintenence software query)?

bit of an odd one I know.

I've been asked to sort out the fleet maintenence system in work. We have a fleet of delivery vans and trucks.

I want to investigate fleet management software. It should cover scheduled maintenence work, breakdown work, types of breakdown, mileage, fuel usage, etc and reconcile that back into costings. Anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks.

I implemented a system called Contract Manager recently. It does what you're asking it to, but while it's great in some ways, it's flawed in others.

Also, there's no way to "sort out" the fleet management system, done properly (and depending on the size of fleet) it can be a massive undertaking.

PM me if you want more info.

Try ASC fleetminder software purpose designed for fleet maintainance, works very well and is user friendly, Irish company as well. www.asc.ie

I'd think it's really important to use an Irish company or at the very least to test the hell out of the software to ensure it's localised properly, but I don't think that software will do what's needed.
Looks more like a workshop loading and management system than a fleet management system.

Not enough info on website to be sure though...

Thanks for the info lads, I know its a big undertaking (actually really enjoying it - finally something motor related:)) but I want to centralise all the vehicle records as its paper based at the mo - or worse.

We actually have on-site maintenence so workshop loading would be desirable.
