    International Rules:

As you all know, the International Rules takes place over the next two weeks (October 24th and 31st). Given the event’s history and the strong opinions people have on both sides of the argument, the moderators of the GAA and Aussie Rules forums feel it necessary to draw up some additional guidelines for posting in threads about the games.

We (the moderators) would like to stress that we in no way want to hinder healthy debate on what should be an exciting two matches, however clear and blatant breaches of the forum charters will not be tolerated. Anyone who is banned from one forum will also be immediately banned from the other for the duration of the ban. This is to prevent, for example, somebody flaming in the GAA forum and then going and repeating the same thing in the AFL forum.

All bans will last until a week after the second game at the very least, with extended bans at the discretion of the forum mods.

For 99% of you none of the above will apply, however it is important to make this clear in advance to prevent any problems down the line.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation,

    The mods.
