Hi all, somehow I did not know that paper F7 could be done through an Irish Variant. Only just realised today when I downloaded some exam paper, now I must say reading through I did find it a bit tough to understand parts and thought the subject got extremely hard. Can someone tell if they have done the int variant and found it ok or is the irish variant much easier to understand.

    Thanks

Nobody in Ireland is offering tuition in international F7, it is all Irish variant, so you must be studying at home. Both are equally hard but use different terms for the same thing. They both have the same examiner. All of the PLC's in Ireland use International accounting standards so if you want a job in a big company it is an advantage. If you want a job in a small Irish company the Irish variant is for you. I'd go for International but P2 is hard to do home study and you will not find a tuition provider for P2 international (unless one starts up in the mean time).

I wonder if one can change the variant on the go. Let's say I have done F3 Irish variant, do F7 international and then P2 irish.
