Ok so the government orginally consisted of
FF(78)+GN(6)+PD(2)+IND(4)=90 while the opposition consisted of FG(51)+lab(20)+SF(4)+IND(1)=78 so the gap was a healthy 13.

Seamus Brennan dies and bev returns to FF.
FF(78)+GN(6)+PD(2)+IND(3)=89 so the gap became 12.

Behan and McGrath stop supporting the government.
FF(77)+GN(6)+PD(2)+IND(2)=87 while the opposition consisted of
FG(51)+Lab(20)+SF(4)+IND(3)=80 so the gap became 8

    What else can go wrong?
I can see Healy Rae dying of old age or leaving government due to harsh budget in the future. I'm not sure if Lowry would leave but I suppose if re-election prospects deteriorated, he might bow out. That would leave a gap of 3. At least at that stage, the greens might have some leverage over the government. I just can't see the greens ever resigning over an ethical issue so the government will retain it's majority of 3 and stick around for another few years.

    Interesting times!
