The Credits need a new bassist!

As the title says..

We're looking for a bassist.
We're a Dublin based band, been together for about a year and a half.

We write all our own material, and need a new bassist to come on board asap. If you have vocals aswell, it's a big plus.

Stylewise, We'd be alternative/rock, but you can decide for yourself at our MySpace page.

Age is not that important, but I should probably mention that we're all in our early 30s. What is important, is that you're a good bassist, and confident with it. We'll be looking to gig soon enough.

Btw - jamming and rehearsing usually either city centre or south Dublin and we're recording constantly, so it'll be straight into the thick of things.

Some influences include: Stone Roses, Led Zeppelin, Ride, The Beatles, Kings of Leon, Elvis, Band of Horses, Turin Brakes and Pixies.

It must be great for bassplayers to be able to pick and choose! .. we need you!

Used to play with a band called Suddenly Smith, singer went to Oz, Guitar player is now semi famous, Gavin Glass, and I'm pissed off not playing any more !!!

Hey there lads,

Sorry for the slow reply - I wasn't subscribed to the thread.

Bottom line - yes we definitely are still interested in a new bass player but we've been totally on hold for the last couple of months while two of us finish some part time study. Earliest we're talking for jamming again is the end of April with part of the band and then the end of May for the full band when we all finally get finished up with that stuff. That's not too far away really, just a few weeks!

Anyway, I'll send some follow-up PMs tomorrow, I'm too knackered now!!

Things are on hold til the end of April at the earliest. After that we'll be kicking back into jamming again and we'll get in touch at that point to see if any of you are still interested!
