Just saw an ad on Sky showing TESCO (UK) are giving 5p off every litre of petrol for every £50 spent in store. Could be handy for anyone heading up North.

They do 5c off every litre of your petrol if you spend €50 in a tesco in the Republic which has a petrol station attached - e.g. Dundrum. Do it all the time.

Yeah Dundrum have had this since they opened pretty much. They also give you free parking for 2 hours when you spen over a certain amount too I think. If memory serves me correctly its when you spend over 20 euro.

ClareHall and Clearwater do the same offer also, haven't seen it in awhile though

The 2 hours free parking in Dundrum is on all the time when you spend either €20 or €30.

The 5c off a litre voucher is normally on the back of your till receipt but it hasn't been on for a good while.

    Unfortunately No.
You only get 5p off each litre.

Don't forget that petrol up north is still wickedly expensive though. Less so now after last weeks money grab and since sterling disappeared up its own jacksie, so even with 5p off, my guess is you'd still be way better off filling up at any station in Dundalk, and assuming Dundalk is like the stations on the border in Donegal, better off again filling up as far south of it as you can!
