Traffic on Snugborough Road

    Has anyone noticed the additional traffic on Snugborough road when going towards the N3 in the mornings? This seems to be because of the roadworks going on at the point where you join the N3......Took 30 mins just to get to the N3 from national aquatic centre this morning..!!! And ofcourse the N3 was packed as usual...Any suggestions on an alternate route to city? The cappagh road is not a viable option because roadworks are taking place there too resulting in various divertions and hence delays... Cant take public transport because I attend classes in evenings after work and at that time public transport is not frequent towards tyrellstown.....

    Well if you're leaving from Tyrellstown, you could use the following route to get on the N2 and head in that way: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2347825 . You could also turn right at Hollystown and go through Kilshane cross. If that doesn't work then it's time to get yourself a bicycle...
