Most guys I have asked expect their partner/mother to tell them, where as most girls seem to know without having to be told.

So.. do you know, without asking someone/google or being told, when the clocks go back?:)

Is that... like an extra hour in bed? Really? And all I have to do is sit here and drink this whiskey for another hour?

    Two easy things to remember:

    1) Spring forward, fall back.
    2) It's always the lwast weekends in March and October.

    Simple

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Damn culchies.

Thats right. The reversion to winter time all across the globe this weekend has been caused by the existance of the sartorially and temporally inept country folk from Ireland.

    Damn them!

and to avoid inevitable arguements about whether the hours goes back or forth remember this little diddy:

    "spring forward, fall back"

    "spring forward, fall back"

Ha! I've seen people fall forward and spring back. Less usual i grant you.

My thoughts exactly! There's not much point having a phrase to help you remember if the phrase can be reversed and still make sense!

Anyhow, it's always fairly easy to remember when the clock changes and which way it goes, and if you're not certain then there are plenty of ways to find out without resorting on waiting for your Mammy to tell you!

Should the clocks change is a completely different argument, don't get me started...

Set the controls for 1939! Mwah ha ha ha.

We need to find some way of following him back there, and quick, before he alerts the evil Mr. Hitler about his fraught policy of taking on two superpowers at once!

Sunday of a bank holiday. The only way I'd notice the time has gone back is if I turn up an hour late for something in the cinema that evening.

Didn't they try not putting the clocks back some time in the 70's but there were too many accidents in the mornings as people were sleepy and driving to work and schools in the dark.

    Heard that before some where.

There was an increase in the number of accidents in the morning and a reduction in the evening ( afaik) but the tabloid press concentrated on the former.

God no, dark mornings depress me like nothing else. They're dark anyway in winter, it'd be so much more awful if the clocks didn't go back :(
