RTE to make cuts worth 10 million euro in 2009 fiscal year

    Just announced. Retired staff not replaced, cut in bonuses. Dunno if actual programming will be hit.

    It has to be done if income is being reduced, all media are having their budgets cut. Surprised it has been announced this side of the annual report.

    They are only two shows. But I agree Fair City could be got rid of as could Pat Kenny.

    Both RTE and TV3 have allot to answer for, 10 years of the same old ****, I don't believe they really have to take many of these cuts.
