    Hello everyone

I need some advice on a girl I really like...
She is older than me but not by much and I'm sure she likes me the same way I like her, I've asked her out to a concert which is a few weeks away and she still needs to give me definite answer however I'm optimistic because the band we would be seeing are her favourite band.

Over the weekend she text me asking me if I was in our hometown so we could meet up which I wasn't so we couldn't.

I want to see her but we live in different cities we are away at university and we are no more than a couple of hours away from each other but I'm not sure how it would come across if I went to see her because I dont want to end up in the friends zone.

Does anyone have any idea as to what I can do?

Also does anyone think I'm just being way too optimistic in thinking that she likes me the way I like her?

Thank you for listening to my issue

    Peace

    Khuz

Need more details. In the mean time, you're saying you live 2 hours away from each other right? I wouldn't suggest that you offer to go down to where she lives. I know it might seem like the gentlemanly thing to do, for you to do the commuting. But that is also putting pressure on her to entertain/host you and it also might appear over enthusiastic.

Rather, invite her to something that you and your friends are doing. Say a party, a day out or whatever. This way she doesn't feel the focus is necessarily on you and her, you are just inviting her to spend a good time with you.

Again, I don't know at what level your relationship is so it's hard to say. But my .02 thus far anyway

Stop giving yourself excuses not to be optimistic. A) she hasnt turned your offer down straight off and B) she asked you if you were around to go out on x night. Just what are you worried about? Isnt it obvious in mile hight letters that she likes you enough to at least want to get to know you better?

    Stop giving yourself the heebies.

Ah just go and see her, and mainly, take a note of her reaction: ie is she geniuinely happy to see you, is she pleasantly surprised, or is she uneasy...
Then tell us what her reaction was, and we'll give you further advice. You didn't disclose much personal information for us to be able to give you the right advice, so maybe should go unregistered next time and reveal more?

The reason I'm doubting myself is because I've made mistakes in the past which I know is in the past but I really do not under any circumstances want to mess things up with her because she is so awesome.

Cianos I understand exactly what your saying and it really helped thank you for that. The relationship is at a point where we havent yet gone out on a date in any way which is down to the fact that we have not had the chance too. Which is why I want to go to see her but obviously as you said it would put unnecessary pressure on her which is not something that would be beneficial to my chances of having a relationship with her. So I need an excuse to go to see her without putting the pressure on her to be the host... Any ideas???

If any more information is needed please tell and I'll do my best to provide it

    Peace
