Can anyone give me any tips on how to cut my weight. Im 28, I weigh 89K and Im 6' 1". I dont eat brekfeast and eat a sandwich at lunch and a dinner which usually consists of rice or pasta and chicken or beef. I train about 2/3 times a week.

Up until last year I always weighed around 80K, however in the last year my weight has gone up but my routine hasnt changed.

    Bren,

Are you talking cutting weight or losing weight? Cutting weight involves starvation/dehydration/saunas and is done just to make weight for a fight or competition.

Weight loss is permanent change in weight and body composition.

    Go Paleo. Go Zone.

Eat meat and veg, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar.

Skipping meals isn't a good way to control weight. You need to keep your metabolism working throughout the day. One Big meal a day isn't a good idea, and I'd hasard a guess you're snacking in between meals.

Check out the stickies in the "fitness" and "food and nutrition" forums. Some great info there. Make sure you don't skip meals. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. :)

You gotta have a good breakfast every day and try and eat those carbs (rice and pasta) earlier in the day, and drink plenty water.

Good cardio (i.e. running) and a sensible diet are the only proper way to lose weight.

Start with a good breakfast, it kick starts your metabolism, fruit helps in the morning, gets everything going!;) jogging/running. plenty of water, keep hydrated. Best of luck.

Just to echo the lads, not eating breakfast is the start of your problem. If you don't get your metabolism going first thing in the morning, you'll burn less calories until it kicks into gear.

Eat a decent sized, decent quality breakfast.
