According to the BBC, three out of four children have seen images on the internet that disturbed them.

Hello? What the **** are children doing using the Internet unsupervised?

I hate this **** because people are going to blame the Internet when the problem is lazy parenting.

    /Rant rant rant

    Pics or GTFO!

Anyway, I always found that when I mailed naked pictures of me to strangers, nobody complained. They were just being polite it seems :(

Was there a definition of a disturbing picture though? My daughter gets disturbed by Barbie (hates it) yet happily watches horror films with us.

    Good point.

You've reminded me of that stupid "obscenity" law so many countrie have - "obscene" images are illegal. But how do you define obscene?

As Justice Potter Stewart said: "I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material [pornography] ... but I know it when I see it."

    Ah jaysus joe it's awful...

IE7 and Firefox and Opera etc... all have filters which can be set to avoid dodgy images and content which you don't want your kid to see, which is good because there's stuff out there that's disturbing even to me (2 girls one cup...for **** sake) If you don't know how to do it then learn how, and if that's too complicated then you shouldn't have a computer.

...or shouldn't let your children unsupervised on the Internet.

    Retarded, lazy parents.

Exactly, what's the most disturbing thing you've seen. Two girls one cup is famous but what's the worst

Anyone see the autopsy of that young girl with your man doing *stuff* to her dead body. Pretty sick stuff I have to say.

Plenty of disturbed kids on the net already. Do we really need more of them?

Might as well free their goddamned tiny minds up a little bit. Sher it distracts them from talking about X-factor, doing drugs, getting each other pregnant, happy slapping and listening to the goddamn ting tings.

The only thing that ever disturbed me was the picture of a woman standing on a kitten's head and the kittens eye popping out

Or the one where scumbags put a cat in a cage and pour lighter fluid over him and burn him it's pretty horrific listening to the cat wail out in pain, Love to get my hands on those thugs
