PGDE Application? Teaching Subjects?

Hi, Just wondering if any1 knows what you need for PGDE application for Galway. References? entrance essay? etc. Also what is the deal with teaching subjects in Ireland - do you have to have two subjects? How do you know if you meet the specific requirements to apply for the subjects? Thanks
