iPod In-Ear Headphones

I bought a pair of these Apple brand iPod In-Ear Headphones about a week ago for 50e in HMV and I am furious with my decision now as I find that they are the worst headphones I have ever had the displeasure of using:mad:

Maybe I just have strange ears or something but they will not stay 'in-ear' and they keep falling out the whole time. They came with 3 different bud sizes and have tried all 3 with no improvement.

The fact that really annoys me is the cost and that I could have easily picked up another pair for less and I'm sure that they would be better than the ones that I got.

So, basically where I'm headed with this it 1) does anyone else have this problem with them & 2) is there any foreseeable way of getting my money back considering I still have packaging, receipt etc etc

    Cheers

I've heard a few people have problems with them - not specifically Apple ones, just the whole "in-ear" design. Most such headphones have the three standard sets of ear-buds and like in your case, some people don't find any of them suitable. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to know this until you've tried to use a set.

As for returning them, I don't have any retail experience so maybe someone else can chime in on that, but I would imagine that headphones in general are exempt from any money-back guarantees, due to hygienic reasons - the store would not be able to resell them, which is a standard condition for such returns. They probably only have the standard "if it breaks, we'll replace it" kind of warranty...
