I think you have to pay the doctor for writing the prescription though. Google is also your friend, or are you asking us to google penicillen for you? Did your last maid die of Tonsilitis?:p

You do need to see a Doc;)

I think its safest to take penicillin in an injection form.
So just get the jab... Its not worth your life!!

or as already mentioned, google is your friend!! :)

I don't know, but you know who would? That's right, a chemist!

I normally get tablets not injections.

I was just asking if anyone else knew what to ask for.

With so many people allergic to penicillin, I doubt it's available in over the counter preparations.

Contrary to your stated aim, this is medical advice, against the charter, so the thread is closed.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

There are many types of medical penicillin available and what suits one person, condition or infection may not suit another.

Any penicillin you can buy over the counter (if any) is quite possibly unsuited to a condition as serious as tonsillitis.
