    HAHA! :pac::pac::pac:

Nice to see that blow back is starting to pop everywhere. Now the question is does it have recoil?

    From that vid? Nope.

Only recoil AEG at the minute is the new TM M4 - Which has the same design as that custom AEG blowback from Philippines.

It appears to be copied from the Toptech/G&G design, its not gonna recoil much but should sound brilliant., if ya want recoil, ya Need a WA M4 blowback. that thing is shocking.,

Hmmmmm.... interesting. Still I think I'll hold out for the TM.

Is the WA M4 available here - someone selling them and/or are they under the 1J limit?

Classic Army would be better off getting there aegs to not blow up rather than to blow back. All this means is there's even more parts to break down than before.

By any chance do you know how much it cost and the price of the mags?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

Ive no idea, but it is expencive, the mags i think are about 70-80quid each.,

as vtec said the mags are expensive, wa did recently bring out a cheap version of the mag that did not have the bolt stop mech built in

Why do they bother, the armalite has one of the least dramatic bolt carriers by design, no moving charging handle etc.

A little plate moving forward and back is hardly worth it.

I got to use KD's escort mp5 once, good god :) and the noise of it at the skirmish, a few of those on the field would make some soundtrack for battle.

AEGs are usually a lot more reliable though and have far more options for upgrading etc, KDs MP5 is a beast and a half but like all good things, comes with some maintainance too and that mightn't suit the less tech savvy.,
I wont give ya brilliant recoil but it will have a great sound to it. ive just ordered the Toptech myself for that reason.

I reckon next on my list will be either a western arms m4 gbb ( or a w.e. if they're quick enough) or that marui sopmod.
Guess we'll have to wait and see on the marui though.
Haven't fired a gbb m4 yet but i do have a steyr tmp from ksc and that thing has a pretty hefty bolt being flung back and forward in there, gives it a great kick, lovely feedback and it's by far my favourite in terms of sheer fun to fire so point in favour of gbbs.
As far as reliability goes i'd have to agree with vtec that aegs are the winner, but all this stuff with blowback on the bolt covers just seems too gimmicky and not worth the effort to me.
