For anyone wanting to back up their PS3.

Just spent the last hour stuck in a rut ,with an external NTFS drive.

But I've found a way ,that you can format an external drive in Vista ,to any size in FAT32

First off ,turn user account control off.
Restart vista.

Type CMD ,to get the dos window.

Then FORMAT (Drive Letter):/FS:FAT32

(There's then a note about forcing a dismount ,just dismount the drive from windows and off she goes.)

I know a lot of you already know this ,but it's been a while since I got stuck with a format problem. At least I can back up my new big drive when I have it installed:)

EDIT : The above format doesn't seem to be compatible with the PS3 .
This program however will format a TB to FAT32 in four seconds.

I think that's the formatter I used when I formatted a 320 drive. I'l ldouble check this evening when I get home.
