Ah shoot, so it is. Yeh I'd never make it on time from work out to 3 rock. Cheers Peter. I'm carrying a slight knock from last week. Was fine swimming and jogging on it this week so not sure how it'll effect me tbh. Will warm up and see how it is but obviously with large squad I'll only offer my services if we're desperate.

missing mark again this week. looks like were a bit short in the middle now. ill give derek a text and see if he is about.

we must get 3 points here, no excuses. we need to pick up say 12/13 points from out next games to challenge for the league.

and des, i dont think it will be possible for everybody to be there for 7.00 with work and all that, traffic etc.

Eh, 16 bus goes right by the door. Takes 90 mins from Santry so give an hour from town. Short in middle again and I'm doubtful so our options there are limited. Depressing stuff

lads, the ref just rang me and asked to start the game as early as possible. now, i advised that we will be there early anyway, but we are in no position to guarantee that we will all be there as the game is a bit early for work/traffic etc.

Des, have you a contact for Ravenhill off the website? he wants me to ask them too....

and its only a favour (its the ref that did our friendlies for us) to help him out, if the game starts at 7.30, then it starts a 7.30....

If the eleven I want to start are there, then fine.

    If not, then no.

    Simple.

Does that mean there will be other people late?

0-0,cant remember ever playing a scoreless draw before, but it was the right result, neither team were better. terrible terrible conditions, wind swirling over what was a terrible surface. mistakes a plenty on both sides but again, totally down to conditions.

we were better in the first half, art had 2 great chances and we only had one chance in the second really, they had 2. so, its nights like this that make us a team. work rate could have been better, but nobody likes playing in that....though defensively we were solid and did ok in the middle, though maybe lost our way in 2nd half. Mick at left full was about the pick of the team for me in a night where everybody else did well without being spectacular!.

Apologies for the Jersey f€ck up lads..

On the match tonight, we didn't play our best football. The pitch wasn't a help but both teams had to deal with it. I think we pushed on in the second half and had a good period without making any really clear cut chances.

We need to push on from here, on the plus side we keep a clean sheet and played better in the second half.

Definitely a point gained than two lost.

The pitch was poor and an unpredictable wind, but with a few spills and follow ups, we could easily have lost had they put in the tap-ins. There was no bounce on the pitch with the water on top.

Thought they edged it tbh. We were poor. Lost the battle in the middle. Their number 13 is an excellent player and he ran it in there tonight. We defended well though. Bring on next week
