Well the G&G has a metal body and arguably better performance :)

TBH anything else would be a trade down compared to a G&G...they're pretty

much the best you'll get unless ya wanna spend really big.

Although the JG G36c and AUG A3 are great starter guns for a cheaper price :)

Eirsoft also have the plastica range in the G&G which have the same internals as the metal ones. I am getting the plastic one myself(costs only 180) but they don't have it on the website.

The thing doesn't look or feel plastic at all, I was in there shop last week just to have a look
I am gonna get this red dot sight for the M4 I will buy tomorrow. Call of Duty style

If you want more details into the working and performance of the G&G then eirsoft.ie have a thread in the retailers section or you could ask Vtec or Shiva or Dex or DOC

well a metel would look better and probably withstand more abuse but the abs version is lighter so easier to run around with and you'd save a lot of money that you could spend on extras like grenade launcher scopes spare mags camo tac the whole lot

so really i would go for the abs version simply because of the money you would save so you could buy extras
    and welcome to airsoft:D:D:D

    thanks man
Does any one no what type of battery the G&G M16 R4 carbine needs

best ask Tony if you're intending to buy it from Eirsoft. Their thread's here:
    http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055122309&page=337

But the battery on that one goes into the second magazine that you see mounted in a type of "ready-mag" configuration. So I'd imagine this one would work: http://www.eirsoft.ie/store/product_info.php?cPath=35&products_id=65

But like I said, check with Eirsoft.

goggles are a bit hard to advise on, depends if your happy with just goggles or if you want full face protection, first thing to ask is do you where glasses?

I'd reccomend a sensei Mesh for a new player but the only thing to do really is go instore and try them on. Different masks fit different people comfortably.
