T&C?

    Hello all!

I'm going to start offering my services soon (for free) to any band that would like some photos of their gigs. This is purely to gain experience and improve. Ideally i would like to have some kind of T&C in place. Nothing major, just simple stuff like retention of copyright (i do own copyright don't i?), accreditation on any work.

    What am I missing here?

Just turn up with your camera to any local-music scene venue! Just ask the bands before they go on. Can't imagine why a band would turn down free press! Though it does help to know a band: Free entry guaranteed! :D

I'd just have a document typed up that you either supply to them with the email you send the photos or on the Cd stating:All photo are copyright of you,Any photos to be used on any websites etc will have to be accredited to you and linked back to your site or whatever you want,You could also give that group a few business cards and they can give them to their bands friends :D

I have a standard contract that includes a clause of copyright. You generally wouldnt need a contract unless you are 'booked' by someone but sure pm me your e-mail and I can send it on to you. It's in publisher though.
