I need to make 300 euro extra per week. I have worked out thats what I need to get by and not have any money worries and clear my debts so any ideas on how I could do this other than going on the game. I currently work full time so and have a family and two big dogs so time poor and energy poor but willing to try anything.

Hmm, sounds like you need to be paid more for what you do. Is that possible?

Not sure what you could do that would get you and extra €300 but maybe bar work on the weekends or delivery job for a chipper or pizza spring to mind.

Dont have full days free at the weekends to take a part time job or to work anywhere and I wouldnt earn enough anyway in 2 half days. Im with the Health Service full time doing two jobs as it is so low money. No hope of promotion whatsoever.

It's perhaps a difficult question to answer as we don't know much about you, where you are from, what exactly you do and what are you strenghts and capabilities.

My own experience is that the first step everyone should take is reviewing their outgoings and seeing what can be chopped. But I presume this is something you have already done.

I don't want to suggest drastic measures as they don't always work but have you considered changing the job you are in?

Is this a long term or short term problem?

    Michael.

Do you have any skills which you could use while working from home E.g. bookkeeping, typing, lessons/tuition of some sort etc?

Get rid of the two big dogs for starters, unless they cost nothing to feed.

Would it not be easier to SAVE €300 per week rather than come up with a way to make it? You said you do not have any time to do an extra job so im not sure how you can possibly expect to earn an extra €1200 per month.

How big is your family? Can/does anyone else in the family work? Do you have your own place or do you rent?

maybe train your dogs to perform an act .

you need financial help - its not as if your a couple of pounds out

maybe 1 loan to clear all your loans of a longer term

Set up an ebay account and start selling all the useless crap you have gathered over the years.
You would be surprised at the value of stuff you have - books, electronics, Dvds, golf clubs:eek:. I needed cash a few years back for a business thingy, and raised nearly 1500 euro by auctioning off all the material crap i had!
Also, downgrade your car if you currently have a decent set of wheels, the bank manager doesn't care how cool you are or look, they just want money!

Another idea is to go buy a new laptop (you may need to research whats in demand), download the technical manuals from online, get your self a computer repair tool kit and take the machine apart. Sell all the parts separately on ebay, whilst making a tidy profit! Bought a few broken laptops in the past from mates, stripped them down and sold off the pieces, made some nice money from it.

    Best of luck with it.

Buy iphones from Italy and sell them sim free in Ireland to customers of Vodafone, Meteor and Three. That's a market of 2 million +. You can make about 100-150 per phone you sell. You can sell via ebay, local ads, buyandsell, adverts.ie, etc. You'd only need to sell 2 or 3 a week without much work at all. Have a read of my blog (1 or 2 posts down) for my experience buying one of these.

Give me a shout if you want any tips about this as I did a bit of research on it before I bought one.

    Best of luck, Dave

Totally agree with some of the previous posters, i think the first thing you need to do is to cut your spending. Its easier do that than earn an extra 300 per week. Thats a lot of money, especially in this economic climate. However, this point leads me on to a possible solution for you depending on your skills.

A imitation Eddie Hobbs! Lots of people in lots of trouble financially. Both business's and individuals. I really believe there is a market out there for someone to provide a service (at a relatively cheap price) that helps people get through troubling financial times. I think a one man/woman show, not a business would do well. People would be more comfortable dealing with an individual rather than a business!

Just a thought, but really depends on your skills

Then give lessons. There's a fellah around here somewhere needs them real badly from what I hear. ;)

Seriously though, have you considered a bit of direct selling or something similar. Maybe one of those network marketing things could suit you. Because you work "when you want. where you want, in your own time with no pressure" ... supposedly.
