I have a set of Altec Lancing ADA995 Speakers. THere are 5 speakers and a sub. When I bough them they were used on a PC with a pretty good sound card, and all 5 speakers worked. Now I'm using them with a Dell Dimension 5000 which only has intergrated sound card, and only the front two speakers work. I presume I need to get…

I presume I need to get a proper 5.1 channel sound card to make all 5 speakers work.

I just want to get the most basic soundcard that will do what I want. Any suggestions?

Will any of these work, or not work?

Have you the sound software (normally Realtek) installed on the Dell?

You should be able to enable them all from within that.
