Accounting degree?

    Hi im thinkin of doing accounting next year.This might be a silly question but what would be the difference between doing it in cit and ucc besides the points difference?:owill it mean ill get a job faster?better salary etc when im finished???

    I don't know the difference between the accounting degrees in these colleges so I'm not at virtue to make any sweeping generalisations, except for... obviously a level 8 (honours degree) is better than a level 7. After that you want to check what sort of accreditation the degrees have (like with the Institute of Accountants or whatever they're called), because that'll stand to them too.

    Also as far as differences in the actual doing of it, well CIT and UCC are different universities, so they'll have different "feels" to them, and ways of doing things. To generalise, in ITs they tend to have smaller, slightly more "personal" classes which may suit some people more than others. Anyway, look into the different options yourself to know for sure.
