3 & 4 are the ones I like the most, though the PP is #3 ruins the shot.

The third one looks like something from the twilight zone with the PP though. You probably have a perfectly good pic that a little saturation and contrast would suffice. Go easy on the processing, a note I should listen to myself!

Nice pics except for over processing in 3.
I see you are using an Olympus E510, I have one too, and as they say in Kerry, '..era...tis a grand little camera !'......have fun :)

Well the sky in the normal one was completely white, as you can see below and it was really dull. I made it look like the twilight zone as you said cos I think it looks cool!! Obviously I'm wrong!!!
Anyway have a look at this one and judge for yereselves!

Kinda, but lets not forget 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder'.
I'd say play around with different settings in PS and see if it can be improved upon. Did you just apply 'saturation' ?
By turning it into a Black n White photo, would negate the sky effect, but you loose the color impact you had initially !

No I merged two pics into a hdr and just messed a little with the tonemapping but not a lot from the automatic settings.

Black and white of the colorful one below!!!

The processing in the sky was fine albeit a bit purple but the rest of the pic was over done. You could have seperated the image into two and applied seperate processing to each to gain the effect you wanted. Time consuming but wouldn't it be worth it?

I love number 1, it is an amazingly brilliant picture.

As for number 3 another great pic but pp is very strong, I'd soften the pp and it would be much better imo.

In number three just crop the sky out, should look great then..
