DNS failure

    Hi,

    Getting DNS failure when trying to play xbox live.
    Was working, but since changing router to Belkin N1, its the DNS stopping me. I'm with Smart.
    Practical IT novice, but has anyone any advice or info to help?

    Also, possibly in the wrong forum, apologies if so.

    Is it working okay in general? (the internet, outside of the XBox)

    also... (i dont know the xbox specifically)
    Does it get an IP address before getting the DNS ?
    if so sounds like the DHCP server on your router is a bit off ?

    does it get the info automatically or did you enter it in manuall.
