.. well, 7 tracks of Nevermind anyway...
With next week's batch of Rock Band downloadable content, Nirvana's seminal grunge rock album Nevermind comes that much closer to a complete download. A trio of songs still elude us, but seven new tracks will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store starting next Tuesday. Ready the flannel!

Cost to you is a mere $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track, with the full Nirvana "7 Pack" priced at $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points). Cheap!

    • "Breed"
    • "Lounge Act"
    • "On a Plain"
    • "Polly"
    • "Something in the Way"
    • "Stay Away"
    • "Territorial Pissings"

So basically it's Nevermind without the singles? Don't see why they didn't put Smells like teen spirit and come as you are in that.

For Come As You Are, it might be a legal issue. Killing Joke were in the process of sueing the band, but withdrew when they heard about Cobain's suicide. Basically it's a direct ripoff of their track "Eighties" from their "Night Time" album, released in 1988.

Given that the same guys that developed Guitar Hero - Rocks The 80's, and that they already got a lawsuit thrown at them for that. It wouldn't surprise me if that was scrapped for that reason. That said, they could just throw on a crappy cover to get around it, but then, it was over a cover that started the lawsuit for GH80s in the first place!

    Nevermind as in Nirvana?

OMG.. this is the reason I love Rock Band... First Red Hot Chilli's, Rush...

Now if they gave Freezepop albums, it would complete the set ;)

    (or Prodigy )
