    Hi,

I've just moved over to Dublin from England and I'm not sure what to do about my work situation. I'd like to work in the Youth Worker sector but coming across jons is proving harder than I thought. This is what I have the most experience in, although I have worked in restaurants as a chef and waiter, as a barman, and also a delivery driver.

    Now my question is:
I need a quick fix to earning some cash in the run up to Xmas. Does anyone recommend becoming Taxi driver or van owner driver for a courier company. I'm in the position to acquire a taxi suitable vehicle or a van so need advice on what would be more profitable. I know I'd need to apply for my PSV licence (any ideas how long this would take?) to be a taxi driver and then pay rental to a taxi company. I also realise that I'd have to find a company that wishes to take on a courier, although I believe that are quite a few of these opportunities out there.

    Any ideas/help/suggestions would be helpful!

    Cheers in advance.
