    Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend a really good microphone for live vocals. I'm using the Sm58 at the moment but one of the guys in the band has a sennheiser he bought years ago and the respnce from it is far better than the 58. Any ideas?

Get a Sennheiser, if that's what you prefer ?

Was kind of looking to see if anyone had any reviews etc on certain mics. The 58 seems to be the most common but I'm wondering if theres better out there

    It's a matter of taste.

The Neumann KMS 105 is getting very popular too.

I have a 105. It's fantastic if your budget will stretch to it.

See if you can find somewhere that will let you borrow/rent the different options before buying. One might suit your voice better than the other.
