Really just wanted to share this with you lot because none of my friends really appreciate my love of all things Nintendo...

They are PlayStation heads and I never got into PS1, 2 or even now 3.

Downloaded Super Mario Bros 3 for the Virtual Console a couple of weeks ago and then just left it. Saw it as a must have game. Then on Monday I decided to start playing it properly for the first time since Mario All-Stars on the SNES and I fell in love with it all over again, the original is so much better than the SNES All-Stars in my opinion, not sure why, I just prefer original's to games like this.

Anyway have no restricted myself to 1 World a night so as to not ruin the fun of it and I really want to draw out the experience rather than just bull on and complete it!!

Anyway, just thought I would share that with you....if there are any games you have recently bought on the VC that you wish to share - please do :)

Mario 3 will always be a classic, it'sjust such a brilliant game that never gets old.

Currently playing Earthbound on the SNES which is up for release on the VC. It's not a game from my childhood but always wanted to give it ago. It really is way ahead of it's time with an unusual setting for an RPG and lots of gameplay developments that are only being seen now. The story is genius, despite a wacky and humourous theme through the game the story is quite emotional towards the end.

Finishing Mario 3 on the NES back in the day nearly broke me, I've never been able to go back to it and I pretty much never turned the NES on again. It was too traumatic.
