Anybody know a good Audi mechanic?

    Hey there,

Just wondering if anybody here knows a good Audi mechanic. I had a look at a car yesterday and everything looked good. Still, I wouldn't mind getting it checked over.

The thing is, I'm in competition with another buyer so I would need someone at short notice (Saturday hopefully).

I know its a big ask, but sure their's no harm in trying. Also willing to pay a bit extra since its at such short notice.

Or am I been too optimistic?

Tell us the specs bud, we can surely give you some pointers as to the common ailments. At least tell us where you're based.

I wouldn't put too much mass in this 'call from another guy' thing. They're usually third cousin to Harvey the rabbit.

it'd handy to know what part of the country you're in...........no point in me recommending someone to someone in Wicklow/whatever........

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Yeah, I know I'm not that green. I'm no expert either though.

The seller told me yesterday when I was looking at it that he had somebody else coming to look at it with a mechanic. Checked carzone today, it was marked down as sold. Its back on car zone now as still available.

The seller's after texting me, says he's still on for Saturday.

I don't know if he's bluffing or the 'mechanic' put the other buyer off.
Thats why I'm looking for a mechanic.

I like the car, but I'm thinkin I should just walk away now. What
    do you think?

Sorry, I'm in Dublin. Just back from the pub, you know how it is
