No place for my child

I am moving quite soon to the midlands and have found out that the school most convenient to us has a place for my older daughter but not for my younger one. I was asked to hang on a day or two to see if some jiggling around could be done in order to find a place for her. Can anyone tell me what I do next if in fact they cannot place her, I would be quite happy to place her elsewhere however, after making phone calls all day today I am totally flabbergasted at the amount of schools to capacity. Does anyone out there have any inside knowledge about getting your child into a school when they are at or close to capacity.

Get in touch wit the B.O.M. and the head of it and make your case to them.
You may need to appear to want to get invovled with parents activies in the school.
Did you ask for a copy of thier enrollement policy ?
