Anyone got experience in mailing their archery gear from Ireland to UK (or elsewhere)? My full setup is in one of those plastic box cases under the bed at home. Cost should be 40-60 euro going by AnPost prices on their website. Anyone got suggestions on packing the case into some box suitable to post, or could I just tell home to tape up the case itself and send that? Anything else to watch out for etc?

I posted my archery gear (in its big black compound case) to Germany when I moved over there for the summer back in 2003; I stuffed it to the gills with newspaper, wrapped the hell out of it with packing tape so it couldn't open, and sent it on its merry way.
