I was there in May of this year on my HM. There is loads to do in Capetown and the surrounds so you'll need at least four or five days there.

We then moved onto the winelands and stayed in Stellenbosch. It's a lovely little town with great restaurants but if I was doing it again I would just take a day trip from Capetown as it is very close by (30 or so miles) rather than visiting separately.

After this we went along the Garden Route, stayed in Mossell Bay one night (not much going on here - wouldn't recommend it) and then Plettenberg Bay for two nights, liked Plettenberg but nearby Knynsa is probably a better option as it's larger town.

We finished with two nights in Shamwari Game Reserve, I'd highly reommend it if you didn't want to travel up to Kruger.

The coast line along the garden route and all along the cape pennisula is stunning so you shouldn't be short of options. Camps Bay a suburb of Cape town is very popular for it's beaches.

    Hope some of this helps!
