    Hmm...wonder how much that will go for!!
    I kinda like cars like that,theres supposed to be a new unregistered 93 micra hidden away in the nissan garage in tralee,i dont know how true that story is though..

    Theres one thing I find odd about that car.
    It has the Cadillac emblem on top of the bonnet and on the part just above the grille.

    I think the one on top has been added on.

    well I had another google around and spotted this car with 294 miles on the clock, again unregistered and in storage. It a 1996 Pontiac Trans-Am.

    Yes, but since it was unregistered, it would get a 08-D or whatever plate now, meaning it would have to do an NCT test (given that the NCT has be done on a vehcile that is 4 years or more from the date of first registration, not the year of manufacture).

    Would they even allow you to register it as a new car now? I'm sure there's a 2" thick file of current regulations that that car doesn't conform to.

    Well, there is a Brazilian VW T2 going around Dublin with 06-D plates, aswell as a few South African VW Citi Golf's and Mexican Beetles, all on recent Irish plates. I doubt any of them are up to modern European saftey standards.

    They might have been first registered in their home countries, though. - the Cadillac has never been registered anywhere.

    And imagine in 4 years time trying to get it passed the emissions in the NCT?
