Could anyone recommend an easy to use and possibly free piece of software to generate reports from an SQL database?

    Thanks in advance

I think some folks in work here have been experimenting with the free version of the LogiXML reporting suite, for web-based stuff. Haven't looked into it myself, but it seemed to suit what they were after.

Yeah, I've used that one, though with an Oracle database. It will work fine with SQL server.

It is the dogs proverbials, couldn't recommend it enough.
